Thank you to the voters of Green Township for your support of safety services.  Your approval will allow us to continue providing you with top-notch Police, Fire and EMS services.
Green Township prides itself on providing the best possible services of all types to its residents and business owners.  Paramount among our services are Public Safety Services, which include Fire, EMS and Police protection.  For many years, demands for safety services have been increasing, without a corresponding increase in personnel or equipment to keep pace with the demand.  The cost of providing these services continues to take larger and larger portions of the Township budget.

Voters in Green Township will be asked to approve a 1.9 mill Safety Services Levy on November 4, 2008.  This site contains information the Levy Committee feels clearly indicates the need for increased funding for our Police and Fire and EMS Departments.  See our latest additions on why a levy is so badly needed.  This will be issue 37 on your ballot.
